Passaic County Cougars

EVERY FAMILY MUST VOLUNTEER TO FULFILL TWO (2) VOLUNTEER POSITIONS.

THE ORGANIZATION WILL PROVIDE THE TRAINING FOR YOU.

​

MOST TRAINING TAKES PLACE BEFORE THE SEASON AND ADDITIONAL TRAINING IS ADDED ON AS-NEEDED BASIS DURING THE SEASON.

Passaic County Cougars depend on parents and volunteers to assist the organization by:

1. Signing up for a task on the volunteer form.                                                                                         A)Teams Moms/Dads.                                                                                                                         B) Collect money at the gate.                                                                                                               C) Work in the concession stand.                                                                                                     D) Security at the games.                                                                                                                     E) Bring snacks at the away games.                                                                                             F) Education Coordinator.                                                                                                                   G) Help with tutoring.                                                                                                                           H)Cooks at the game.                                                                                                                           I) Help with Fundraisers.                                                                                                                          J) To be a Trainer (have to be certified).                                                                                          K) Assisting with field preparation and clean up when the organization has home games.

2. Making sure players attend practices and games on time.

3. Making sure your child has arrangement for getting home after games & practice.

4. Coming to the game to support all the children.

5. Setting an example by demonstrating good spectator sportsmanship at game by:                         A) Cheering for your child’s team and encouraging all, players.                                                               B) Not criticizing or heckling the opposite team, this forbidden.                                                             C) Not criticizing the referees call; this is unproductive answer set a bad example for the players.

6. Staying Informed about activities and schedule changes by checking the website.

7. Playing all fees and completing all fundraising in a timely fashion.

8. Supporting all of the organizations Fundraisers.

9. Familiarizing yourself with all of the organizations policies & procedures.

 10. PC Cougars cougars cannot transport your child in their personal vehicles.

All volunteers team parents and coaches must under go a background check.

​

All information received by the organization will be treated as privileged and confidential.

 

Having a part transgressions doesn’t automatically exclude you from participation with the organization.

(PC Cougars organization will operate a concession stand at all home games and need volunteers to operate it. Donation and contributions are accepted and appreciated)
